How to get the most out of our services
1: Itemise your requirements
- List your specifications one element at a time.
- Check for dimensional limitations (if applicable).
- Specify a budget (essential)
- If developing a product for manufacture split the R+D budget away from the cost of manufacture per unit.
- Include the requirement for a non-disclosure agreement if required.
- A short supply chain is generally better, if you require material/parts from overseas this will extend lead times and add to shipping costs.
- Units of measurement must be specified in metric. (We can convert from imperial, but this adds time and cost)
2: Review your requirements
- Re-reading the spec sheet or design brief allows you to spot any opportunities or conflicts.
3: Arrange a meeting to start the ball rolling
